Method and device for controlling hydraulic pressure of a power steering apparatus

The servo steering has a reaction piston (7) rotationally linked to the input shaft (2) of the steering and with axial movement. It is also elastically linked to the control element of the servo steering valve. The output hydraulic pressure from the reaction element is used to control the speed related reaction pressure for the reaction pressure on the steering. The system eliminates excessive hydraulic pressures e.g. when parking at very low speeds and thus reduces the strain on the steering mechanism. This provides an active control for the reaction pressure.
