<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of wrinkles on an inward bent face by pressing a hat shaped ceiling part from inside with a press die and expanding both sides of a 90 deg. bent part in the width direction when the fuel tank support for vehicle to support/fix to a vehicle body is produced from a metal strip formed to a hat shape in its cross section. SOLUTION: Relief recessed parts 1b are arranged to both sides of a pressing face 1a of a bending press lower die 1 of a bent support 3, a press projecting part 2a corresponding to the lower die pressing face 1a is arranged to an upper die. By placing a strip plate, which is formed to the hat shaped in cross section beforehand by pre-working, on the lower die 1 and descending an upper die, the 90 deg. bent part 3a of the support 3 is formed by pressing the ceiling part of a hat part from inside by a pressing face 1a. At this case, a width of the bent part 3a in both directions is not restrained by the relief recessed parts 1b and expanded, as a result, a wrinkle is not generated both bending parts and flat state is maintained. A whole hat shape 3b except the 90 deg. bent part 3a of the support 3 produced has a diameter of the pre-working shape.</p> |
