PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film capable of expressing excellent crease resistance mechanical characteristics, etc., by biaxially orientating a sheet consisting of a crystalline polyolefin and a cyclic olefin-based resin. SOLUTION: This polyolefin-based film is obtained by biaxially orientating 3 times or more in the longitudinal direction and 3 times or more in the lateral direction a sheet made of a resin composition consisting of 70-98wt.% of (A) crystalline polyolefin and 2-30wt.% of (B) a cyclic olefin resin having 60-160 deg.C softening point. The resin of the component B is at least one selected from a group consisting of (i) a copolymer of ethylene with a cyclic olefin expressed by formula I [(n) is 0 or 1; (m) is 0 or a positive integer; (q) is 0 or 1; R<1> -R<18> , R<a> and R<b> are each H, a halogen, etc.] or formula II [(p) and (q) are each a positive integer; (m) and (n) are each 0, 1 or 2; R<1> -R<19> are each independently H, a halogen, etc.], (ii) a ring opening polymer or a copolymer, (iii) a hydrogenated product of the component (ii) and (iv) a graft modified product of the components (i)-(iii). |
