摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering controller of a vehicle, by which steerage of rear wheels is stabilized and drivability is improved by decreasing and correcting a steering controlled variable of the rear wheels when the change amount of the lane width of a traveling road exceeds the specified reference value. SOLUTION: A steering controller of a vehicle, provided with a guide line recognizing means M1 for recognizing a guide line in traveling of a vehicle, and for setting the target route by a controlled variable calculating means M2 on the basis of the recognized result of the guide line by calculating the steering controlled variable of rear wheels so that the vehicle may travel on the target path and by controlling steerage of the rear wheels is provided with a lane width detecting means M3 for detecting the changing state of the lane width of the traveling road on the basis of the recognized result of the guide line, and a correcting means M4 for decreasing and correcting the steering controlled variable of the rear wheels when the change amount of the lane width exceeds the specified reference value. When the change amount of the lane width exceeds the reference value and also when the steering controlled variable of the rear wheels are largely changed, the steering controlled variable is decreased and corrected, and therefore, steerage of the rear wheels is stabilized, and drivability is improved.
