The vapour withdrawal aperture (13) in the hob (11) is fitted with a sealing body (18) held in position by a press seat. The sealing ring body firmly surrounds the introduced withdrawal tube (14). On the outer ring of the sealing ring body are ring bulges corresponding with the edge of the vapour withdrawal aperture. The ring part of the sealing body enclosing the cover of the withdrawal tube on the one hand acts as an incined support extension (20), and on the other hand has a projection (21) extending over the plane of the hob.
