The invention refers to a method and an arrangement for communication via a public computer network (1), such as the Internet, between an addressing unit (2) and an addressable unit (3). In a preparing step a register unit (6) is provided, which has a register (7, 8, 9) of all addressable units (3) to be available for said communication, and in an operative step the addressing unit (2) addresses an arbitrary addressable unit (3) and communicates with the register (7, 8, 9) for establishing whether this arbitrary addressable unit (3) is defined in the register. |
