摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation apparatus by which the movement time of a moving body is shortened by judging whether the re-searching operation of a route is required or not on the basis of the relationship between outputs of a reduction-time detection means and an arrival-time computing means. SOLUTION: When an aera-existence judgment means 102 judges, on the basis of received traffic information, that a congested area or a regulated area exists inside a searched route, a reduction-time detection means 104 detects the reduction time of the congested area or the regulated area so as to be output to a re-searching control means 105. Then, an arrival-time computing means 103 computes the time required until the area is reached, and it outputs the time to the re-searching control means 105. The re-searching control means 105 compares the output reduction time with the output arrival time. When the reduction time is longer, it is judged that the congested area or the regulated area is not reduced, the re-searching control means 105 asks a route search means 101 to perform a re-searching operation so as to search a route, and the route is displayed on a display part 14. In this manner, since whether the re-searching operation of the route is required or not can be judged on the basis of the relationhsip between the arrival time and the reduction time, the movement time of a moving body can be shortened as far as possible.
