PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor installing type or a ceiling hanging type air conditioner in which a heat exchanging efficiency can be prevented from being decreased and at the same time an amount of air-blowing through an air blowing- port can be uniformly distributed. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is constructed such that a front lower section of a main body 1 divided into two upper and lower segments by a partition plate 1a having a ventilation port therein is provided with a suction port 2, its upper part is provided with an air blowing-out port 7. There are provided a heat exchanger 3 and a plurality of centrifugal fans 5 which are connected at right and left ends through a driving motor 4 and stored in a fan casing 6 connected to the ventilation port in an air passage connecting these suction port and air blowing-out port from each other. In this case, between the air blowing-out side of the fan casing 6 and the heat exchanger 3 is arranged a flow regulating plate 9 for use in uniformly guiding blowing-out air in forward and lateral directions toward a path region of the heat exchanger 3. |
