摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high speed transfer of image data from an input buffer memory to a data memory in the image processor. SOLUTION: A bus switch 50 to select 1st bus connection between an input buffer memory 10 and a data memory 20 or 2nd bus connection between the data memory 20 and the coding unit 50 is provided among the input buffer memory 10 the data memory 20 and the coding unit 50. Upon the receipt of a data request signal from the coding unit 50, a data transfer control unit 40 switches the bus switch 60 to the 1st bus connection and the image data read from the input buffer memory 10 and the write of the data to the data memory 20 are controlled and when the transfer of the image data for one frame is finished, the bus switch 60 is switched to the 2nd bus connection and a transfer end signal is sent so as to allow the coding unit 50 to start the coding processing.
