<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple and efficient removal of sticking ashes at the field without impairing a fan main body by a method wherein an acid paste or an alkaline paste is applied on the surface of the sticking ashes and, after the paste penetrates into the sticking ashes and the sticking ashes are thereby softened, the ashes are removed from a boost-up fan device. SOLUTION: A pasting agent is added to an acid solution of a hydrochloric acid of 10-20wt.% or an alkaline solution of a sodium hydroxide of 10-20wt.%. An acid paste or an alkaline paste thus obtained is applied 2-3mm thick on sticking ashes and this state is maintained as it is for about 30 minutes. The upper-layer part of the sticking ashes is softened by this operation. After the acid paste or the alkaline paste applied on the surface of the sticking ashes is removed by a descaler or the like, subsequently, the sticking ashes of the softened upper-layer part are removed by a scrub brush, a wire brush, a disk sander or the like. By repeating these operations in 6-8 times, the ashes sticking on a boost-up fan device can be removed completely in a short time.</p> |
