PURPOSE: A method for automatically activating and inactivating an additional service of a wire telephone is provided to automatically connect or release to a corresponding communication terminal, according to a user's situation when a wire telephone registered in an additional service rings. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically activating and inactivating an additional service of a wire telephone comprises the steps of: sensing whether a charger of a communication terminal is attached or not, and driving an appointed communication service; sensing charging activity to connect a service supplied in the communication terminal to other communication terminal, and automatically transmitting a service number; previously storing the service number to automatically transmit a driving number of an additional service supplied in the wire telephone, sensing whether the charger of the communication terminal is attached, transmitting a service activating number to a telephone line if the communication terminal is eliminated from the charger, transmitting a service inactivating number if the communication terminal is mounted on the charger, and automatically transmitting the appointed service number through the telephone line, by maintaining connection relationships with the other communication terminal and the wire telephone.
