PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slurry material or a mud material which can be used in areas where sea water or under ground water flows out without detriment to its high performance by using clay with a specified specific gravity. SOLUTION: A slurry material or a mud material is prepd. by dispersing clay having a specific gravity of 2.60-2.80 and a thickener in water. A slurry material prepd. by compounding, per m<2> , 400-700kg of clay having a specific gravity of 2.60-2.80, 1-30kg of clay having a specific surface area of 200-350m<2> /g, 1-25kg of a thickener, and 600-850kg of water is used in areas where sea water flows out. A slurry material prepd. by compounding, per m<2> , 400-700kg of clay having a specific gravity of 2.60-2.80, 1-25kg of a thickener, and 600-850kg of water is used in areas where underground water flows out. A mud material is prepd. by compounding, per m<2> , 420-560kg of clay having a specific gravity of 2.60-2.80, 0.5-3.0kg of a thickener, and 650-950kg of water. |
