PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a data dependence relation logic circuit of a dispatch logic circuit without lowering the performance by setting the mode display unit so that whether an unsolved instruction in a pipeline has single precision or double precision is indicated. SOLUTION: A load/store function unit 32 is equipped with an actual function logic circuit 102, a register use logic circuit 104, and an additional OP code logic circuit 106. The logic circuit 106 indicates whether an instruction in each stage of the load/store function unit pipeline has single or double precision to the data dependency relation logic circuit 100. The logic circuit 10 includes one additional logic circuit which judges the data dependency relation of a new instruction to be dispatched by a control logic circuit 90 by using the indicated information. Consequently, a logic circuit 106 which is not necessary for each function unit is omitted and further a corresponding logic circuit which is not necessary for each function unit and a logic circuit 100 are also omitted. This logic circuit is needed only for the load/store function unit. |
