An optical recording medium has a wobbled groove, and pits formed at predetermined intervals in an area between the grooves. The pits are, for example, address pits in the form of normal pits, which are formed radially and continuously over the adjacent grooves. The groove may have a wobbled signal of a single frequency, or may have a wobbled signal for recording address pits, a combination of the groove having a wobbled signal for recording address information by FM modulation and address pits, etc. In recording/reproduction, the wobbled signal and the address signal are simultaneously read out by a single beam spot using a push-pull method.
