PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device, in particular, an air conditioner in which informing sound of various tones is generated and in particular is convenience in use can be assured for a visual-handicapped person. SOLUTION: When an operation button 1 is operated, a signal corresponding to an operation of the operation button 1 is inputted to a control section 2 of an operation device, wherein an operating information corresponding to an operation of the operation button 1 is generated, an instruction signal corresponding to this operating information is transmitted to an indoor device 18 through a modulation circuit 4 and a transmission section 5. As an instruction signal is inputted to an indoor device control section 10 of the indoor device 18 through a receiving section 11 and a demodulation circuit 12, an air conditioner is controlled by the control section 10 of the indoor device and at the same time an occurred state of sound signal generated from a sound generating section 15 is controlled. That is, sound signals which are different from each other in reference to the type of the operation button 1 and the content of operation are generated from the sound generating section 15. |
