PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric roof light window operating gear which can open and close a skylight (open and close window) easily even if a motor of the electric roof skylight device is not operated due to power failure, can reduce load of the motor, and can reduce operation sound thereof. SOLUTION: In an electric roof light window operating gear, an electric drive device 4 which drives an open and close window 3 is provided with an external force operation shaft 8 which can be connected with a reduction gear 6 which decelerates output of a motor 5. This external force operation shaft 8 is directed toward a rooftop side and leaves the reduction gear 6 by a clutch means 10. When power failure occurs, a user climbs on the rooftop and engages a tip 9a of a manual operation handle 9 with an outer end 8b of the external force operation shaft 8 from an opening manual operation 2a. The manual operation handle 9 is pressed to mesh the external force operation shaft 8 with the reduction gear 6 and turn the manual operation handle 9. Consequently, its rotary force is transmitted to the reduction gear 6 so that the open and close window 3 is opened and closed manually. |
