AZEOTROPE-LIKE COMPOSITIONS OF DIMETHOXYMETHANE, CYCLOPENTANE AND 2-METHYL PENTANE AND THE USE THEREOF IN THE PRODUCTION OF FOAMS.

Azeotropic compositions made up of from about 68.1 to about 69.1 percent by weight of dimethoxymethane, from about 29.7 to about 30.7 percent by weight of cyclopentane and from about 0.7 to about 1.7 percent by weight in which the sum of the weight percents of the components is 100 percent by weight. These azeotrope-like compositions are useful as blowing agents in the production of polyurethane foams.
