A filter device, especially for filtering of gases like air, is disclosed. It has a frame construction (1, 2), for sealing fixation of an edge portion of a filter medium, and the filter medium consists of at least one pocket (3, 4, 5, 6), with its opening turned towards the frame device, and the pocket shows substantially plane side walls. The filter device is especially characterized in that it is provided, at the frame device, with at least one gas guide means (7, 8) for said gas, designed such that said side walls of the filter medium are subject to a gas flow, substantially uniformly distributed along the extension of the filter medium from the frame device to the bottom of the pocket. |
