PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacture of a soft magnetic alloy having superior magnetic properties with high productivity. SOLUTION: A molten metal, which has a composition containing Fe as essential component, containing element M consisting of one or >=2 metallic elements selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Mo, and W, and also containing B, is sprayed on a moving cooling body, by which an amorphous alloy foil is formed. This amorphous alloy foil is heat-treated by being held for 0 to 20min at a temp. not lower than the first crystallization temp. at which a first crystalline phase is precipitated and lower than the second crystallization temp. at which a second crystalline phase is precipitated. By this procedure, a fine crystal structure of >=30nm average crystalline grain size, in which at least 50% or more of the structure has bcc structure and which is composed essentially of Fe, is precipitated. |
