PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send a wavelength control signal to all communication nodes of a 1st communication system via a 2nd communication system by allowing the 2nd communication system that conducts communication independently of the 1st communication system conducting wavelength multiplex communication to detect a wavelength arrangement in the 1st communication system. SOLUTION: A 1st communication system is a passive star communication system with terminal station number is (n), terminal stations 311-31n control a wavelength of light emission of its own station to keep a prescribed wavelength interval according to wavelength control information and wavelength multiplex communication is conducted via communication nodes 321-32n. A 2nd communication system has a wavelength control node 36 and optical fibers 37, 38 connected to a star coupler 33, has a control signal independently of the wavelength multiplex communication system in the same transmission line as that of the 1st communication system and conducts control communication of wavelength multiplex communication system and packet communication. A wavelength control node 36 has a function of detecting a wavelength in a network and a multiple address transmission function for packet communication only and applies multiple address communication of wavelength control packets to all communication nodes 321-32n in the network at a prescribed time interval. |
