PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor in which it can be surely prevented that a document is forgotten to withdraw from an external storage medium drive unit of an external storage medium after use. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with an external storage medium detecting means 2 detecting that an external storage medium 14 used for storing and reading out document data and the like is in an external storage medium drive unit 8, a time measuring means 3 measuring a time after operation of a document processing device is stopped, and an external storage medium leaving alarm means 4 uttering an alarm of leaving to a user, when a time measured by the time measuring means 3 elapses a fixed time after stop of operation, in the case of being detected by the external storage medium detecting means 2 that the external storage medium 14 is in the external storage medium driving device 8, the external storage medium leaving alarm means 4 utters an alarm sound, while displays alarm information indicating leaving of the external storage medium on a display screen. |
