PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform an analyzing process, etc., in a short time by providing the microprocessor built-in device with a selecting means which connects an external connection terminal or a microprocessor to a subordinate device. SOLUTION: In a multi-chip module MCM, a selector SEL and, for example, four terminals are provided. Then '0' is inputted as a select signal input IN to one terminal at the time of debugging or fault occurrence. At this time, the selector SEL connects signal lines (address bus ABUS, data DBUS, and bus control signal BUSCONT) connected to other three terminals to subordinate devices EQ0-EQn. Control from outside the multi-chip module MCM, therefore, becomes possible. Further, when a program is debugged at the time of newly development or function addition, an emulator is connected generally as an external device to the said three terminals to enable the debugging while tracing the program. |
