PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate ligature removal by providing the bracket with an arch wire slot extending in proximal and distal directions through tie wings and facing a lip direction and forming occlusal tie wing chips and gingival side tie wing chips. SOLUTION: The twin tie wings 14a, 14b are disposed to extend in the lip direction from the main body of the bracket 10 to be placed on the right side of the maxillary first premolar and are juxtaposed apart the specified spacing between the proximal plane and the distal plane. The arch wire slot is formed by a medial slot part 54a having a proximal end 55 and a distal slot part 54b having a distal end 56 and is disposed to extend in the proximal and distal directions through the tie wing 14a, 14b and to recess in the lip direction. The occlusal tie wing chips 30a, 30b are formed by the first side walls 58a, 58b and the gingival side tie wing chips 18a, 18b are formed by the second side walls 62a, 62b. As a result, gaps are formed between the bracket 10 and the ligature, by which the cutting is facilitated.
|
