摘要 <p>Provied is a process for regenerating a high temperature treated reforming catalyst which has been deactivated due to coke deposition and which catalyst comprises at least one Group VIII metal. The process comprises first burning coke from the catalyst by contacting the catalyst with an oxygen containing gas. The catalyst is then reduced by contacting the catalyst with a reducing gas, preferably hydrogen. The catalyst is then treated at a temperature in the range of from 975 degree to less than 1150 degree F. This last treatment step can take place in either a reducing atmosphere, or in an inert gaseous atmosphere. It is also preferred that the last step be conducted while maintaining the water level of the effluent gas below 200 ppmv.</p>
