<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively suppress the influence of weather and the like by collating radar video generated by transmitting a radio wave from the velocity of a road and receiving a reflected wave with radar video without a target, time-sequentially monitoring the position of the target on the road and generating traffic information showing the moving/stop situation of the target. SOLUTION: The radar radio part 24 of a radar for vehicle traffic monitoring 10 scans the road with a radio signal from a transmitter and outputs the radar video showing the received reflected wave from the road object 16 and a bearing signal showing the direction of the main beam of an antenna at that time. An A/D converter 26 samples the radar video with the clock of a high frequency and A/D-converts it. A speed conversion part 28 reduces the signal speed of the radar video. An operation part 32 and a signal processing part 34 collate the radar video with the radar video without target, which is previously given, detect the position of the target on the road, time-sequentially monitor the position and generate traffic information showing the moving/stop situation of the target on the road.</p> |
