摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent filming and scattering on a toner conveying member and to enhance the development efficiency by using a toner contg. a specified amt. of a metal oxide and a metal-contg. azo dye. SOLUTION: In this one-component developing method, a thin layered toner on a toner conveying member is fed to the surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier to develop a latent image. The toner contains 10-30wt.% metal oxide and a metal-contg. azo dye represented by the formula, wherein each of X1 and X2 is H, lower alkyl, etc., each of (m) and (m') is an integer of 1-3, each of R1 and R3 is H, alkenyl, sulfonamido, etc., each of (n) and (n') is an integer of 1-3, each of R2 and R4 is H or nitro and A<+> is H<+> , Na<+> , etc. The filming of the toner on the toner conveying member due to use over a long time is prevented and the amt. of the toner recovered in a cleaning part is reduced.</p>
