PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a planographic printing plate having ease of exposure in an image setter of a printing plate precursor using a flexible base having dimensional stability and ease of handing of the planographic printing plate using a metallic supporter in combination. SOLUTION: This process for production includes stages of (i) exposing an image forming element, which includes a discriminatable lithographic surface in ink receptive regions and ink repulsive regions by imagewise exposure and, in some cases, development on the flexible base, in compliance with scanning according to image patterns, (ii) laminating the image forming element which is exposed in compliance with the scanning and is obtd. in such a manner, on a dimensionally stable base adapted itself to the installation to a printing machine on the flank having the lithographic surface and the flank on the opposite side and (iii) developing the image forming element which is exposed in compliance with the scanning, before or after adhering the element to the dimensionally stable base. |
