Groove (6) is inserted into free surface (2) of each member (3) of pedestrian path (1), and has length L1, width L2, and depth P. Nonslip element (4) is inserted into groove, has width E slightly equals to width of groove, and height H greater than depth of groove. Nonslip element is held in place by gripping along its width. An Independent claim is also included for the apparatus for binding nonslip elements to pedestrian path.
