SOIL STABILIZING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost composition having a soil stabilizing effect better than that of usual cement, quick lime or slaked lime on a ground with high water content and sludge. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a mixture of quick lime with an amorphous product obtained by baking 3CaO.Al2 O3 .6H2 O, which is readily synthesized by mixing Al(OH)3 and CaO or Ca(OH)2 with water, at a temperature from 200 deg.C to below 300 deg.C, preferably a mixture of 10-400 pts.wt. quick lime with 100 pts.wt. of the amorphous product.
