PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photosensitive material which has excellent discrimination between green colors and purple colors as well as it can reproduce an image with enough luminosity and which has high storage stability under high humidity condition by controlling the spectral sensitivity so that the center wavelength between the centroid wavelength in the spectral sensitivity distribution of a blue-sensitive layer and the centroid wavelength in the spectral sensitivity distribution of a green-sensitive layer is shorter than a specified value. SOLUTION: The center wavelengthλ[(λBmax +λGmax )/2] between the centroid wavelengthλBmax in the spectral sensitivity distribution of a blue-sensitive layer and the centroid wavelengthλGmax in the spectral sensitivity distribution of a green-sensitive layer is controlled to be shorter than 490nm. The center wavelengthλ[(λBmax +λGmax )/2] is preferably shorter than 485nm. The centroid wavelengthλBmax in the spectral sensitivity distribution of the blue-sensitive layer is preferably shorter than 445nm. The centroid wavelengthλGmax in the spectral sensitivity distribution of the green-sensitive layer is preferably shorter than 535nm. Further, the centroid wavelengthλRmax in the spectral sensitivity distribution of a red-sensitive layer is preferably shorter than 640nm.
