摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple super-fine particle prevented from the formation of coarse particle due to the sintering phenomenon of the particles each other under a high temp. and capable of keeping catalytic activity over a long period as a catalyst for synthesis and reformation of methanol and the producing method. SOLUTION: The super-fine particle containing an M element having catalytic action (M is at least one kind of a metal selected from a group consisting of Cu, Ag, Au, Ni, Pd, Pt, Fe, Co, Rh and Ru) or the oxide or further a Q element (Q is at least one kind of a metal selected from a group consisting of Al, Ga, Cr or Si) or the oxide is obtained by an arc plasma method and a porous coating film composed of a T element accelerating the catalytic action (T is at least one kind of a metal selected from a group consisting of Zn,Al,Ga and Cr) or the oxide is formed on the surface of the superfine particle by a precipitation method.
