PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical battery having electrodes rolled spirally and having high capacity and/or high output. SOLUTION: This electrochemical battery comprises at least one terminal 6 having an inside part provided with a cylindrical shoulder 51 with larger diameter than the transverse size of the outside part 7 and electrodes 11 are provided with a plurality of conductive blade members 4 extended partly almost parallel to a vertical axis, mechanically and electrically connected with one of the end parts of the electrodes, and projected out of the end parts. Regarding the electrodes 11, in order to establish electric contact with an electric current output parts, these blade members 4 are collected at least a part of an outer circumference 10 of the shoulder 51. The battery comprises a container, electric power output terminals, which are electric current outlet terminals with opposed polarity and supported by the container and have a part 7 in the outside of the container and a part 8 in the inside of the container, as respective electric current output parts, and two electrodes which are spirally rolled along a vertical axis: and one of the electrodes is a cathode and the other is an anode electrically connected with corresponding electric current output parts, respectively. |
