PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make any information on a vehicle in theft informable to a prescribed person quickly and positively by altering an on-vehicle telephone to a current position information output exclusive made being unusable for telephonic communication at a time when vehicular theft is detected. SOLUTION: A control unit 1 makes its self-diagnosis for a vehicle state on the basis of each output of various sensors 2 after an owner is separated from his vehicle, and when there is something wrong, it is informed to a registered person from an on-vehicle telephone 5, therefore this control unit deals with the affair necessary for trouble solution on the basis of a command of the owner. A navigation unit 3 finds a position of his own car, indicating it by a display 4. The on-vehicle telephone 5 prohibits any use of telephonic communication by the control unit at the time of vehicle theft detection, and it is used for transmitting the information of a current position, and thereby a facsimile function is additionally installed there. An exclusive power-supply unit 7 makes the navigation unit 3 and the telephone 5 usable even when a power source is turned off by an operating switch 6. Accordingly, it is to advantage the retrieval of a stolen vehicle and a thief. |
