PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress disturbance in gradation even for an animation and a high luminance image and to improve light emission availability of a time in a field by constituting plural kinds of respective sub-fields with different display periods with plural sub-fields with nearly equal display periods and arranging combination of ones each other with different display periods of plural sub-fields on both end parts of all sub-field arrangement in one field. SOLUTION: A signal to be displayed is coded at 8 bits, and the sub-fields b6, b7 are equal divided respectively, and the b6 is made the b61 and b62, and the b7 is made the b71, b72. The b61, b71 are arranged on the first of the sub- field arrangement, and the b62, b72 are arranged on the end in one field, and an order in the field is made b61, b71, b0,... b5, b62, b72. In such a case, the first sub-field becomes b0 in the field, and the final sub-field becomes b5 in the next field. At this time, an interval between two sub-field light emission start points of time becomes 18.8msec to become a critical fusion cycle (20msec) or below. |
