PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and to identify an object that is tagged by using an infrared signal. transmitting device and to perform spatial localization. SOLUTION: An identification tag locating system 10 includes at least two video cameras 25 which are configured to offer an image sequence at a 1st frame rate and is structured to accurately locate an identification tag (e.g. the tag 40 of a wall and the tag 50 of a book), etc. In such cases, an identification tag outputs signals in a series of intervals at a 2nd frame rate that is defined as being lower than the 1st frame rate, and these signals are sensed by video cameras 25 (20 to 22, 24 and 62). A computer system 60 is structured to extract the three-dimensional spatial localization of an identification tag from the image sequence, and a data transfer system is used to transfer data from an identification tag. The data is related to the three-dimensional spatial localization of an identification tag that is decided by an image processing system. |
