PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the synthesis of nucleic acid capable of directly amplifying the objective gene in a biospecimen without using pretreatment of the specimen. SOLUTION: A surfactant is added in the synthesis of nucleic acid comprising the mixing and reaction of a material containing the gene of a biospecimen or a biospecimen itself with a gene amplification reaction liquid. For example, a specific PCR(polymerase chain reaction) product can be obtained from blood as shown in the electrophoretogram by the PCR reaction of human blood with a PCR reaction liquid containing 5% Tween 20 even at a blood concentration of 10%.
