PURPOSE: A noise prevention structure for scroll compressor is provided to prevent metallic noise caused by a collision between the fixed scroll and valve stopper, by effectively inhibiting irregular movement of the check valve. CONSTITUTION: A valve stopper(3) is mounted and coupled onto a discharge port(2) arranged at a fixed scroll(1) of a scroll compressor, and a discharge hole(4) is formed at the top surface of the valve stopper. A piston type check valve(6) having a guide bar(5) installed onto the check valve is arranged within the valve stopper. The guide bar is inserted into and protruded from the discharge hole of the stopper, and guides the movement of the piston type check valve. A plurality of grooves(7) are formed at the outer periphery of the check valve so as to allow the refrigerant gas to flow through the grooves. A buffering space(S) is arranged between the inner top surface of the valve stopper and the top surface of the check valve, such that the buffering space serves as a buffer when the refrigerant gas flowing through grooves of the piston type check valve fills the space during operation of compressor.
