APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DAMAGE TO PUMP ASSEMBLY OF COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to prevent performance deterioration of the compressor by preventing damage to and deformation of the pump assembly during transportation of compressor. CONSTITUTION: A support member(31) lower portion of which is opened is fixed to the inner upper surface of the case of the compressor, and a crank shaft(5) of a pump assembly(P) is inserted to the opened lower portion of the support member so as to restrict the movement of the pump assembly. A shock absorbing member(32) is fixed and coupled to the support member, in such a manner that the shock absorbing member absorbs the shock caused by the contact at the top portion of the crank shaft during movement of the pump assembly. The shock absorbing member is formed of a carbon spring steel, and has a plurality of coupling sections(32a) and a plurality of curvatures(32b). The coupling section is nearly ring-shaped and surrounds the outer wall of the shock absorbing member. The curvature connects the coupling section and which is directed toward the inside of the shock absorbing member.
