PURPOSE: A digital overcurrent relay attached with LCD is provided to allow an operator to easily notice a malfunctioning by realizing monitoring means of an OCR with an LCD which can accept various messages. CONSTITUTION: A number of phase detector(11) are connected to a three-phase detecting line. A controller(13) reads current values from the phase detector(11) to detect an overload state on a motor and controls a relay(16) and a reverse phase/open phase/operation/overload operation/short/current capacity to be displayed. An LCD(14) is connected to the controller(13) to display a malfunctioning state from the motor as message character/number/symbol, and meters each phase current during the operation. An EEPROM(12) is connected to a bus line of the controller(13) and stores various data set by a user. A key-pad(20) is connected to the controller(13) and inputs various commands and data to the controller(13).
