PURPOSE: A controlling device for operation of a fingerprint recognition door-lock make a door-lock using only a fingerprint to open a door from the outside and operating all functions with a keypad from only the inside, and improves security and convenience. CONSTITUTION: A controlling device for operation of a fingerprint recognition door-lock consists of a fingerprint reading window(1), an optical lens(2), a programmable logic device(3), a main processing unit(4), a flash memory(5), a D-RAM(Random Access Memory(6), an interface for an external terminal(7), and a keypad(8) including both of function keys and numerical keys. A user inputs a password set up when a user's fingerprint is inputted with the keypad(8) and makes the fingerprint recognized through the fingerprint reading window(1). The fingerprint is transmitted into the programmable logic device(3) through the optical lens(2). The programmable logic device(3) makes information about the fingerprint and sends the main processing unit(4) the information. The main processing unit(4) demands a master's permission to change a function of a door, such as adding or deleting users, and allows operating the function of the door if an inputted master's password and fingerprint are identical. When the user wants to open the door from outside, a door driving signal is transmitted to the interface for an external terminal(7) to open the door if the inputted fingerprint corresponds to a previously memorized fingerprint in the D-RAM(6).
