BONUS GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD

A method and apparatus for use with existing slot machines by providing a bonus apparatus for those machines. The bonus apparatus is activated when an operator plays the corresponding slot machine with a predetermined number of coins and hits a predetermined outcome on the slot machine reels. By potentially activating the bonus apparatus, the operator is encouraged to play the slot machine and/or to play additional coins/tokens.
