PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, for making a flat package container blank stand up, an equipment which is mechanically simple, does not require precise adjustment, is economical, requires only a few necessary spare parts, works at a high speed and thus is highly capable. SOLUTION: One blank 3 at a time is fed from a magazine 4 into equipment 1, and then is fed into the gap between a stand up roller 14 and a counter roller 22. Many suction cups are provided on the face in the axial direction of the stand up roller 14. These cups operate when the blank 3 reaches the stand up roller 14, and a panel 8 is held on the face. When a panel in front of the panel 8 held becomes free, the horn 10 of the blank 3 is bent toward the stand up roller 14 and is opened. The opened horn 10 is opened further toward the carrier 24 of a delivery chain 23. The blank 3 stands up and is surrounded by the carrier 24. |
