PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an independent latch device with simplicity and reliability which can keep the same gear stage that is selected by a transmission at occurrence of power failure in a control device of a transmission. SOLUTION: Each of electrohydraulic valve mechanisms 56 is provided with a proportional valve connected across a pressurizing fluid source 28 and a hydraulic operation clutch, an electric controlling proportional valve operationally connected across an electric controller 24 and the proportional valve, and a shuttle valve for latch connected to the hydraulic operation clutch at its one end. The shuttle valve for latch is arranged between the electric controlling proportional valve and a reserver 30, and is operated according to difference between force applied to its both ends. A valve mechanism 58 for master latch is across the pressurizing fluid source and the other end of the shuttle valve for latch. |
