PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film capable of significantly diminishing its contact with the anode mixture of a dry cell through laminating a metallic plate therewith, by dispersing carbon black and/or artificial graphite in a polyester. SOLUTION: This polyester film pref. 10-50μm thick is obtained by dispersing (A) a polyester 0.45-0.8dL/g in intrinsic viscosity and 180-270 deg.C in melting point (pref. polyethylene terephthalate homopolymer or copolymer) with (B) 2-30wt.%, based on the total amount of the components A and B, of carbon black and/or artificial graphite. It is preferable that the average sizes of the primary particles and aggregated particles of the component B be 0.015-0.1μm and <=5μm, respectively. Furthermore, the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of this film preferably satisfy the relationship: 0.15<=f(1-10)/f(100) [f(1-10) and f(100) are X-ray diffraction intensities owing to (1-10) and (100) planes parallel with the film surface, respectively]. |
