摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet-type stepping motor which is turned at high speed and whose torque is high by a method in which 6 (m) pieces of main magnetic poles are constituted in such a way that angles formed by respective identical positions are arranged under a specific condition. SOLUTION: In the case of a double three-phase (six-phase) HB-type stepping motor, main magnetic poles A1 and A2 , D1 and D2 ,...F1 and F2 out of 12 pieces of stator main poles are symmetric with respect to a point, and respective main magnetic poles A1 , B1 , C1 , A2 , B2 , C2 are arranged in such a way that every part between the adjacent main magnetic poles is at 30 deg. and that one phase each of A1 and A2 , B1 and B2 as well as C1 and C2 constitute a total of three phases. The remaining main magnetic poles D1 , E1 , F1 , D2 , E2 , F2 are arranged in the same manner. However, the latter main magnetic pole group is arranged with reference to the former main magnetic pole group composed of six magnetic poles so as to be deviated byαdeg. from their intermediate positions with reference to the former. They are arranged atα=(30/Nr)=0.6 deg. in the case of Nr=50, and a step angle is at 180/(6×50)}=0.6 deg.. Then, when a permanent magnet-type stepping motor is driven as a three-phase motor, it can be operated at a step angle double that at a time when the motor is driven as a six-phase motor. As a result, the motor can be turned at high speed, and its high torque can be obtained.
