PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC coin reader/writer, in which a conveying mechanism is safely and easily configured, and the cost of a system is reduced. SOLUTION: This reader/writer is provided with an IC coin stock/paying-out route 1 for stocking IC coins and paying out the IC coins to a paying-out port 24, writer 20 provided on the IC coin stock/paying-out route 1 for writing play medium data on IC coins, an IC coin throwing-in route 2 for passing IC coins inserted from the paying-out port 24, reader/writer provided on the IC coin throwing-in route 2 for writing/reading the play medium data on IC coins, and IC coin conveying mechanism for conveying IC coins initialized by this reader/ writer 9 to the IC coin stock/paying-out route 2. |
