<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly emit vapor inside of a pump when an engine is started. SOLUTION: A low pressure regulator 27 is provided at a suction passage 5 and a pressure regulation is performed for fuel fed from a supply pump 2 which is motor-driven by the regulator 27. The low pressure regulator 27 is provided with a drain port 30 which is communicated with an input passage 5 and a valve element 32 clogging the drain port 30 by being pressed with a spring 31. The low pressure regulator 27 is provided with a solenoid valve 33 pressing the valve element 32 in an injection-opening valve direction for prescribed time when an engine is started. When the solenoid valve 33 locks the valve element 32 when the engine is started, the pressure regulation is not performed for high pressure fuel fed from the supply pump 2 and fuel is supplied to the inside of the pump. Vapor at the inside of the pump is swept with the high pressure fuel.</p> |
