PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method capable of reducing the electric power which is consumed for driving a stepping motor housed in a wristwatch or the like. SOLUTION: In order to drive a stepping motor, driving pulses P1 of low voltage and auxiliary driving pulses P2 of high voltage are supplied. When the stepping motor is not rotated by the driving pulses P1 of low voltage, the auxiliary driving pulses P2 of high voltage can be supplied, so that the stepping motor can be surely rotated. Thereby, the voltage of the driving pulses P1 can be set low to be a limit, and low voltage driving can be realized, so that the consumption power for driving the stepping motor can be remarkably reduced. |
