PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a polyspecimen sample, capable of remarkably screening only light in an infrared ray area and preventing increase of temperature in a culturing system and effective in carry out examination of polyspecimen by a minute amount of sample in order to measure action of agrochemicals and the environment on algae by culturing a polyspecimen sample by carrying out irradiation of light through a heat reflecting film. SOLUTION: A polyspecimen sample of green algae, etc., is cultured by carrying out irradiation of light from a light source 8 through a polyester-based heat reflecting film 9, in which a metal (oxide) of gold, silver, aluminum, etc., is mixed, having transparency and 10-350μm thickness. Furthermore, the apparatus for culturing the polyspecimen sample, preferably, has a face for irradiating light through a heat reflecting film 9 on at least one face.
