In examples, these compounds are prepared by either reacting a 3-bromoalkyl- or toxyloxyalkylindole with a 4-phenoxymethylpiperidine or introducing R 1 = alkyl. Therapeutic compositions having antihypertensive activity comprise compounds of the above formula, and may be administered orally or parenterally. |
